Privacy Policy — Betnero

1. Information we collect

None. Betnero does not ask for an email address, account, name, age, location, contacts, or any other identifying information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no telemetry of any kind. The optional "Curator" display name and avatar you may set inside the app are stored only on your device and are never transmitted.

2. Data stored on your device

To make the app work, Betnero stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's app-private storage:

• Copies of the photos you explicitly import via the system picker or capture with the camera. These copies are kept in the app's private sandbox folder so the app can display them even if the original is later changed or removed from your gallery.
• Tags you create, including their names and chosen colours.
• Tag and favourite assignments linking each imported photo to one or more tags.
• App preferences such as your chosen sort order, grid column count, and compact mode.
• Optional profile fields you set inside the app: a display name ("Curator" by default) and an avatar selection.
• A one-time onboarding flag so the welcome screen is only shown on first launch.

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to Betnero or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently, including the imported photo copies.

3. Permissions

Betnero requests one runtime permission, and only when you actively trigger it:

• Camera — requested only when you tap the camera capture option to add a new photo to your shelf. The captured image is saved into the app's private folder. The camera is never accessed in the background and there is no audio or video recording.

Betnero does not request access to your full photo library. When you import photos, the system's photo picker shows them to you out-of-process and hands the app only the specific files you select. No "Allow access to all photos" prompt is shown, because no library-wide permission is requested.

4. Network use

Betnero is fully offline. The app makes no network requests, contacts no servers, and does not need an internet connection to work. The only outbound traffic the device makes while the app is in the foreground is operating-system traffic for native UI surfaces such as the share sheet and the system photo picker, which are run by the OS itself and are outside the app's process.

5. Third-party services

None. Betnero does not integrate any analytics SDK, advertising network, attribution platform, crash reporter, push notification service, or remote configuration service. There is no Firebase, no Google Analytics, no AdMob, no Sentry, no Crashlytics, no Mixpanel or comparable tooling embedded in the build.

6. Children's privacy

Betnero is suitable for all ages and contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat, no user-generated content sharing, and no data collection. Because no data leaves the device, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K).

7. Your rights

Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for Betnero to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You are in full control of the data inside the app:

• Remove individual photos from the shelf using the trash button in the detail view or the long-press menu in the grid.
• Delete tags from the Tags tab to remove them and their assignments.
• Uninstall the app, or clear its storage via your phone's system settings, to permanently delete all locally-stored data.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
