ChainDay is a habit-tracking app that helps you build daily streaks ("chains") by checking off habits each day. This policy describes what ChainDay does and does not do with your data. The short version: ChainDay does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
None. ChainDay does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
To make the app work, ChainDay stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage (Hive / SharedPreferences):
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to ChainDay or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
ChainDay does not request runtime permissions for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or any other sensitive resource.
ChainDay works fully offline. The app does not contact any server, does not include analytics SDKs, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not include crash-reporting SDKs. No telemetry of any kind is sent.
ChainDay does not integrate with any third-party services that would receive your data. The app does not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, AdMob, or similar.
ChainDay is suitable for users of all ages. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it complies with children's privacy regulations including COPPA and GDPR-K by design.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of your data on your device at all times. To erase everything, uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device's app settings.
If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
