basilGrid — Privacy Policy

basilGrid is a fully offline gym and workout tracker that lets you plan routines, log sets, and review your training on a weekly grid. This policy describes what basilGrid does and does not do with your data. The short version: basilGrid does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All your data stays on your device.

1. Information we collect

None. basilGrid does not ask you to create an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not collect any personal information from you or from your device.

2. Data stored on your device

To make the app work, basilGrid stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:

Your routines and the exercises within them (the templates you create or customize).
Your workout session history — the date, duration, exercises, sets, weights, and reps you log.
Your custom exercises (if you create any in addition to the built-in library).
Personal records derived from your logged sets (highest weight per exercise).
Achievement and progress state (which milestones you've unlocked).
App preferences (e.g. whether you've completed the onboarding tour, unit preferences).

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to basilGrid or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.

3. Permissions

basilGrid does not request any runtime permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, files, calendar, or any other sensitive system resource.

4. Network use

basilGrid is fully offline. The app makes no network requests of any kind — no API calls, no telemetry, no remote configuration, no crash reports, no advertising calls. You can use it with the device in airplane mode and lose nothing.

5. Third-party services

basilGrid does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, attribution, or tracking SDKs. There are no in-app purchases and no advertising libraries bundled in the app.

6. Children's privacy

basilGrid does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because nothing is collected, transmitted, or shared, the app does not knowingly handle data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The app is suitable for general audiences.

7. Your rights

Because basilGrid does not collect or transmit any data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. To remove the data that the app stores locally on your device, uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device's system settings — this will permanently delete every routine, session, and preference associated with basilGrid.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
